Owner S/Y SPARTAN
“I have had the pleasure of working directly with Alice, The founder of Alice Widdows Regatta Management, to coordinate SPARTAN’s first Mediterranean race campaign. Alice has the highest level of attention to detail and an unsurpassed work ethic. As a result, my experience of working with AWRM has not only been a pleasure, but also highly productive. Alice’s support off the water has made it possible for our success on the water this season!”
Skipper of S/Y SPARTAN
“Alice was a critical member of our team. Every transition from transportation to lodging to finding the right type of ice cube. No detail was overlooked. As a crew member of Spartan, I could focus on my job because everything else was taken care of.”
Crew S/Y SPARTAN
“The W-Class Racing Team first came to race in Western Mediterranean for the summer of 1999, with the W.76 identical sloops: “Wild Horses” and “White Wings”. But we were missing something; I had the vision of what I wanted to accomplish, but lacked the ability to attain our goals, coordinate all the details, organize the crews and helm one of the W-Class boats, all at same time.
The logistics, coordination, planning for the boats, regattas, housing, ground transportation, core crew, race crew, guests, the media: the photographers, print and magazines, the regatta organizers, the regatta sponsors, all the stake holders needed to organized. We were very lucky, by 2001, we found such an person, to handle all this work: Alice Widdows.
Alice has these skills. I credit Alice with helping to us establish our W-Class brand in New England, the Western Med., Great Britain and the Caribbean. She is multi-lingual, extra coordinated. Just like an AMEX card: don’t leave home without one; or attempt a sailboat yacht campaign without her.”

W-Class Yacht Company, llc.
“With Alice I always had the peace of mind that the details were taken care of, this allowed me to concentrate on sailing and having a great experience.”
